Real travelers. Real North.
"On night two they took us to a fjord 1h from Tromsø, no one around. Aurora stayed over the water for two hours. We both cried. The photographer-guide took professional photos that are now framed at home."

Tromsø Aurora · February 2025
"Tripfly set up the 4×4 with ALL insurance. Got a flat tire on a gravel road and paid €0 extra. The roadbook with secret stops was gold: beautiful spots without a soul."

"Took the kids to Lapland + glass igloo. They saw auroras from bed. We've already booked Iceland for next summer. Can't imagine traveling any other way."

"Solo, woman, first time. The coordinator answered at 2 am when I freaked out over a storm. Felt I had someone next to me the whole trip. I'll book again without a doubt."

When to go
When to visit the North
Each season tells a different story. You pick the date, we tell you which North you'll see.
Aurora
Sep – Mar
Best aurora season. September and March are ideal: long nights without extreme cold.
Midnight sun
Jun – Jul
Northern Norway and Lofoten with 24h of light. No aurora but unreal landscapes.
Iceland optimal
Jun – Aug
Secondary roads open, puffins, endless days. No aurora but everything accessible.
Avoid
Nov – Dec in Iceland
Few daylight hours, frequent storms and northern roads closed. Better book Lapland instead.
These are suggestions — you choose your own dates. We adapt the itinerary and pricing to the month you prefer.
